Mount Royal University’s main campus is located in Calgary’s scenic Lincoln Park neighbourhood, in the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of the Treaty 7 region in southern Alberta, which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut'ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda, and is also home to the Métis Nation.

The main campus is situated on land where the Bow River and the Elbow River meet, just 8 minutes by car from the TransCanada Highway, 15 minutes from downtown, and less than 30 minutes from Calgary International Airport.
